Saturday saw 27 hearty golfers on the course playing in stableford events. The weather was cold and didn’t really get much better throughout the day. Winner of the mens event was the in-form Martin “Polar Bear Cup” Lowe. Martin(19) had 40 points to win from recent Club Award winner Greg Clements(17) who had 38 points. Third on CB was Phil Armstrong(21) from Brendan Chenhall(13), Oakley Ness(25) and Rick Wills(9) all on 35 points. Greg Clements was NTP on the 2nd and Brian Simmons took out the Club Award. In the Ladies event Meryl Connell(25) with 34 points won from Sue Aurisch(34) second with 30. Vicki Clements was NTP on the 2nd.
