Mixed Stableford

Saturday saw 23 golfers play a stableford round in fabulous conditions. The weather wasn’t as hot as predicted and the course was still green from recent rains. Winner of the day with his best score ever was Captain Alan Pell(11) with 76 off the stick 41 stableford points. More amazing however was him having only 22 putts! Alas it wasn’t all glory as he and Phil lost the $2 to Gary and Neil in the 4 Ball.

Second, with also an excellent score was John Phillips(19) with 40 points. Third was KenWhitfort(10) with 38 points on CB from fourth Neil Peterson. Fifth was Kevin Coghlan(24) with 36 on CB from Andrew Bohn(8). Brian Simmonswas NTP onthe 11th and Malcolm Bett made a comeback to win the Club Award.

Wednesday will see the second round of the Gender Trophy with a stroke and putting competition. Followed by our Xmas breakup lunch(bring a plate) including Kris Kringle ($10-15 gift).
